Rekeying
New home, new tenant or a lost key? We change the lock so old keys stop working and hand you new ones. It costs less than new locks.

Deadbolts and keypad locks

Each owner, guest or employee gets a key that opens only their door. Managers and maintenance carry one key that opens them all. We design the system, build it, and hand you the records so it stays organized for years.

Good to know
What areas of Door County do you serve?
All of it, from Sturgeon Bay to Gills Rock, including Ellison Bay, Sister Bay, Ephraim, Fish Creek, Egg Harbor, Baileys Harbor and Jacksonport. We're based in Ellison Bay and here year-round.
Can you get me into my car?
Yes. We open locked vehicles without damage. We don't cut or program car keys, remotes or transponder keys.
Should I rekey or replace my locks?
If the locks work well, rekeying is usually the better value. The lock stays on the door, old keys stop working and you get new ones. Replacement makes sense when a lock is worn or damaged, or when you want a different style or a keypad.
Do you come out after hours?
Regular hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 am to 6 pm. For a lockout outside those hours, call or text and we'll come if we can.
What is a master key system?
Each unit or door has its own key, and one master key opens them all. Condo associations, resorts, rental owners and businesses use it so managers and maintenance carry one key while each owner or guest opens only their own door. Every system we build is documented so it can be maintained for years.
How does pricing work?
A flat service charge to come out, plus time and parts. You get the price before the work starts. Payment is by check or Venmo.
